The Colorado Travelers were originally formed to assist the youth with athletic interest and / or talent to gain access to opportunities that weren't normally afforded to them. The youth and families we serve are generally not enrolled in elite schools that coach and train child athletes, and they didn't generally have the social connections to have their child be noticed and accepted into traditional scholorship programs. Having been very successful in creating these opportunities for youth and families, we have expanded our partnerships to include artistic opportunities as well.

Through a sponsorship with KPEO "World Community Radio" we have been able to develop a similar program to help youth with artistic ambitions and talent to get involved and be included in artistic opportunities through our partners.
